What music can I listen to right now?

Eight original CRYA instrumental compositions are included and played as real WAV audio synthesized in your browser. You can also import local music and search Internet Archive for contributor-declared CC0 and public-domain releases. CRYA does not claim access to Bollywood hits, Spotify charts, or other commercial catalogs.

Is the basic experience really free?

The original player, device library, search, and local file playback require no paid music API or user-provided key. Internet Archive is an optional external host, not a guarantee of uptime. Publishing, account limits, and storage allowances depend on your platform plan. No paid subscription is implemented or required for the basic app.

How are music rights handled?

Original CRYA compositions are dedicated to CC0. Archive releases must declare CC0 or a public-domain mark and have unrestricted MP3 or Ogg files. These labels come from contributors and do not replace legal verification; public-domain status may differ by country. No DRM bypassing, copyrighted catalog scraping, or unlicensed lyric scraping is used.

Can I connect a commercial music provider?

A commercial catalog needs an appropriate authorized playback agreement, often credentials, licensing, and provider-specific playback rules. No commercial provider is currently connected. Add one only after confirming its terms permit in-app playback. You never need to redirect elsewhere to play available CRYA tracks.

Will music keep playing in the background?

Playback continues while moving around CRYA. Supported browsers can expose lock-screen and media controls. Mobile operating systems may suspend browser audio, especially after a sleep timer or memory pressure. A browser app cannot guarantee uninterrupted background playback on every device.

Why are there no live global charts or trending counts?

No worldwide chart provider is connected. “Popular in the archive” sorts actual archive records by downloads; newly archived releases are not necessarily newly released music. Recommendations use the genres of your own liked songs. CRYA does not fabricate chart positions, artists, royalties, popularity, or availability.
